Fellowship in the College

According to ACHCA website, “Advancement to Fellow represents the highest level of membership in ACHCA. It is the recognition of professional achievement and continuous adherence to the ethical and professional standards of ACHCA. It requires a record of active participation in fulfilling the professional and educational requirements of ACHCA, suitable formal education, professional, civic and community activities and service, and at least two years of voting membership. Taking this important step in your career development will move you toward a major professional achievement, one that will bring the recognition of colleagues, peers, and leaders in the field as well as residents and their families.”  Information on Fellow status is also in the ACHCA Bylaws (on the web site as well) at Article II, Section 4. Professional Advancement, a.

The National website has a section called Advancement to Fellow (www.achca.org), click “membership” under toolbox and it is listed on the directory which comes up.

If you have been a member of the College for 2 years or more, please consider applying to become a Fellow. Join these members of the MA Chapter who have already advanced to Fellowship in the College.
